Learn more about this land: This is a horse ranch so you can sleep in the company of horses or in the woods with them in the distance ( check if available/storm damage).We have rolling hills, beautiful views from the hill tops, valley with creeks and a waterfall when not in dry or draught and an abundance of wildlife. Also we're located 5-10 minutes from mammoth cave park border, hike, bike and horse trails, river, lake, blue holler atv park and so much more. If you are sensitive to animal noises you may bring earplugs. There isn't a bathroom/ shower house yet so we ask that you bring a port-a-pot of some sort. We're constantly making upgrades to the Ranch so we hope you enjoy your stay. Please refrain from feeding the horses or dogs because it creates a bad habit and folks that don't know how sensitive a horses gut is can possibly kill them. Respect privacy of others and pack out all that you pack in. Shut any gates you come through. We have a hot wire fenced in section for folks to park in if they do not want to be so close to the horses as well. If you don't like horses or dogs please consider alternative camp site. Limited pet allowance...check before booking please. Also, we've had issues with the site and it offering horse time, ride, Q&A etc. for 5$. We've taken steps to fix this. But if you would like something like that it would be through the Ranch directly and as our time allows. A Perfect Weekend
Dragonfly Ranch exceeded all my expectations by a long shot. I have camped all my life and raised my kids as campers. This was, everyone agreed, one of the best sites we have stayed. The horses are friendly and curious. We were surrounded by farmland, the sheep in the distance made it like a scene from a movie. We had a fire in the ring with the provided firewood. Next to our site, the frogs serenaded our group while we counted thousands of stars. Morning started with the horses coming over when they noticed us up. A fantastic time! As a bonus, we enjoyed breakfast at this tiny restaurant 3 minutes down the road. All of us want to come back!

Incredible Host and Friendly Horses
Tonya is such an awesome host! Her ranch is lovely, and the horses are so friendly! We were there overnight during a storm and Tonya checked in with us numerous times to make sure we were okay, and even invited us to pitch our tent in her barn if need be (luckily the storm passed and we were all okay). I would 100% stay here again and would recommend Tonya’s ranch to anyone!

Lots of friendly horses
Checkin was easy. I planned it as a little surprise for my loved one. We camped for one night. Met their horses and dogs. Horses woke us up in the morning too. A very unique experience.

Serenity in the hills
We really enjoyed our stay on Tonya’s land. It’s a serene setting in the hills with gorgeous views. The horses and mule are all friendly and my children had a great time exploring. Nothing beats a nice fire under the stars. It was a quick and easy drive to Mammoth Cave from Tonya’s place. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Camping with Horses!
I loved every minute of my stay camping with the horses. Beautiful views! I biked from the site to Mammoth Cave one day, took the paddle board and mountain bike to Nolin Lake State Park another. The horses were all very sweet and the farm dogs checked in on me daily as well. Hope to come back come day ❤️

This place was awesome! The horses were so fun and friendly. We had a beautiful view and Tonya was kind enough to provide excellent firewood. We 100% would stay again!
